Craving a biscuit to go with your dinner? Or perhaps a quick snack after your workout? If so, this 1-minute biscuit is for you. Just add all ingredients into a jar and microwave. This recipe uses almond flour which also helps increase the protein in the biscuit. Top it with peanut butter and apple butter or your choice of jelly. We also love to top ours with honey, cinnamon, and bananas.
4 tablespoons almond flour
1 tablespoon melted, unsalted butter
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
Dash of salt (skip if you use salted butter)
Melt butter in a small cup or mason jar, but do not let it get too hot or it will cook the egg.
Whisk in the egg.
Stir in almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
Microwave for 1-minute.
Remove from microwave using a glove. It's going to be hot!
Add jelly, honey, or nut butter and enjoy your fresh biscuit.
